Lead3.0 Academy mission is simple and challenging: to estabilish a long lasting Knowledge Alliance between academy and industry. This will be done in order to build the frame for a better European labour market for today’s and tomorrow’s workers. And to achieve its goal, Lead3.0 is going to support online strategic e-Leadership skills’ training programme based on OERs (Open Educational Resources).
The project is involving trainers and teachers from universities-business schools and corporate academies both in the selection and collection of existing OERs to produce new educational resources (Community of Practice), and in the delivery of an educational toolkit for trainers and related capacity building activities.
WHAT ARE STRATEGIC E-LEADERSHIP SKILLS?
Skills such as decision making, giving feedbacks to your team, empowering creativty (some of the so called ‘soft e-skills’) are very important in the current labour market. On the other hand, also having a basic digital literacy or knowing the base of coding (or ‘hard e-skills’, the more technical ones) are essential to achieve business goals in the Digital Age. Strategic e-leadership skills are the combination of the soft skills and the hard skills that a manager needs in order to be truly effective in the current labour landscape.
WHO IS TARGETED BY LEAD3.0?
Lead3.0 Academy aims to become the EU reference in defining strategic e-leadership skills and providing training programmes for:
-
teachers and trainers from universities, business schools and corporate academies
-
managers from enterprises, including SMEs, both tech-savvy and not
-
students from business schools and economics departments that will become the leader of tomorrow
Institutions are the main stakeholders: universities, business schools, companies, associations, VET providers, and, of course, education policy makers will all benefit of the Lead3.0 Academy.

WHAT IS A KNOWLEDGE ALLIANCE?
Knowledge Alliances are transnational, structured and result-driven projects, notably between higher education and business. Knowledge Alliances are open to any discipline, sector and to cross-sectoral cooperation. The partners share common goals and work together towards mutually beneficial results and outcomes.
HOW WILL LEAD3.0 REACH ITS GOALS?
The project is based on an open approach to learning processes in terms of producing and sharing knowledge, and in terms of acquisition and transfer of methodologies.
The training programmes to develop e-leadership skills are going to be delivered through a learning virtual platform, the Academy, using Open Educational Resources (OERs) and resting on a lively Community of Practice of trainers.
These are the main operational objectives that Lead3.0 intends to pursue:
